Indonesia triumphs at ASEAN TV singing festival

Two Indonesian contestants, Olivia and Ananta Kusuma, won first prizes in the pop and folk song categories at the five-day ASEAN Television Golden Voice Festival that ended in HCM City on Mar. 9.

Popular Vietnamese singer Thanh Ngoc took second prize in the folk songcategory, along with Kat Arrogado from the Phillippines and Shazroulfrom Malaysia for their pop songs.

Van Sotheary from Cambodia and Phoungeune Bouathong from Laos also won prizes for being the most friendly contestants.

Vietnamese singer Duc Tuan also won a prize for being the most popular and stylish contestant.

The 18 other contestants were from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, thePhilippines, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Singapore and Vietnam./.

Project on digital transformation in cultural sector approved

By 2030, the project targets the establishment of shared digital platforms across 100% of cultural sectors. All digitised cultural heritage will be standardised under the national data framework and shared in accordance with regulations, while 80% of public digital heritage assets are expected to receive digital identifiers to clarify ownership and management, encouraging organisations and individuals to do the same and support market development.
