The authorities must swiftly identify the victims of the ill-fated Air Asia QZ8501 flight whose bodies have found so far, Indonesian President Joko Widodo said at a closed meeting on December 31.
The President also directed units concerned to step up the search for the aircraft and the victims.
By December 31 afternoon, the rescue team recovered seven bodies, including four men and three women.
Due to bad weather and rough sea with 2-3m high waves, only ships are able to operate in the five main sites.
So far, there has been no sign of the body of the plane as well as its black box which are important parts to find out the cause of the disaster.
According to chief of the Indonesia National Search and Rescue Agency BambangSoelistyo, there is little hope of finding any survivors.
