Indonesia’s President-elect launches survey on new cabinet

Indonesia’s newly-elected President Joko Widodo and his team have organised a survey on members in the new cabinet, which will officially make its debut in late October.

The survey called “People’schoices for an alternative Cabinet” was launched just a few days afterWidodo was declared the winner in the July 9 presidential electionwith 53 percent of the votes.

A list of candidates has beenuploaded to Widodo’s official website and other social networking sitesfor the people to select. The public can also nominate others.

The list includes names from President Susilo Bambang’s cabinet.-VNA
