Domestic manufacturers in the industry sector will have a chance to seek trade and investment ties with foreign partners through an international fair which is scheduled to take place in Hanoi from October 17 to 21.
The 2012 Vietnam International Industrial Fair will feature 200 pavilions, displaying light-industry machines and equipment made by Vietnamese and overseas manufacturers from Russia, China, the Republic of Korea and some ASEAN member countries, the organising board said at a press briefing on October 15.
Being held annually, the fair aims to help local manufacturers in the industry sector gain access to latest technologies and enhance competitiveness in order to catch up with the country’s pace of economic integration and industrialisation and modernisation.-VNA
