Intel Vietnam named in US State Secretary award final

The chip maker Intel Vietnam has been named one of the 11 finalists for the US Secretary of State’s prestigious Award for Corporate Excellence (ACE) this year.
The chip maker Intel Vietnam has been named one of the 11 finalists for the US Secretary of State’s prestigious Award for Corporate Excellence (ACE) this year.

The US Embassy in Vietnam said on September 24 that the company was selected for its environmental protection efforts through using solar power and granting scholarships to disadvantaged children and women.


This year’s award received 82 nominations submitted by American ambassadors around the world.


The winners will be announced at an annual ceremony hosted by the US Secretary of State on November 28.


ACE has been awarded since 1999 to recognise American companies which are leaders in socially responsible activities and contribute to the overall growth and development of the local economy in which they work.-VNA
