International Travel Expo – Ho Chi Minh City 2019 opens
A gala themed Huong sac Viet Nam (Soulful Vietnam) was held by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism on September 4 to kick off the 15th Int'l Travel Expo – Ho Chi Minh City (ITE-HCMC) 2019.
The 15th ITE-HCMC 2019, which takes place from September 5 – 7, features 315 booths, up 366 percent from 2005, and introduces destinations and tourism products of Vietnam and countries in the Asia – Pacific region (Photo:VNA)
On the display are also new tourism products and tourism technologies that will help travel startups to promote their images and seek investors and partners (Photo:VNA)
Besides, many tourism products like leisure tourism, conference and workshop tourism, cuisine tourism and health care tourism will be introduce at the event (Photo:VNA)

The number of international visitors to Vietnam in the first six months of 2019 was estimated at 8.5 million, up 7.5 percent compared to the same period last year, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) said at a press conference on July 9.
