Scientists from across the globe were brought together at aninternational physical science conference that opened in the centralprovince of Binh Dinh on July 29.
Physicists willdiscuss in groups a number of issues concerning cosmography in thePlanck era (the dawn of humankind) along with the theory of relativityand the force of gravity.
They will join five Nobel laureates to engage in a series of scientific seminars on physics.
The conference was organised by the Meeting Vietnam Organisation (MVO)along with several Vietnamese ministries and the Binh Dinh provincialPeople’s Committee as part of the ninth Meet Vietnam programme.
Established in 1993 by Physics Professor Tran Thanh Van, an overseasVietnamese living in France, the MVO plans to inaugurate theInternational Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education in QuyNhon city during the ongoing event.
Leadinginternational scientists are expected to gather annually at the centreto work with Vietnamese researchers and debate a wide range ofscientific themes.-VNA
