Three ships of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF), with 623 officers and sailors on board, anchored at Sihanoukville port in Preah Sihanouk province of Cambodia, for a four-day visit.
The visit aims to further strengthen relations and cooperation between the two countries’ naval forces.
The ships, led by Commander of Escort Unit 15 of JMSDF Captain Koji Yagi, were received by Rear Admiral Ros Veasna, Deputy Head of the Ream Naval Base in the province.-VNA
