As many as 70 objects depicting Japan’s historical events and itstraditional culture are put on show in Hanoi, radio The Voice of Vietnam(VOV) reports.
Featured attractions include archaeologicalitems, paintings, statues, handicraft products and documents from theJomon Dynasty (around 12,000-2,400 years ago) to the Edo Dynasty(1603-1868), organised into nine themes.
They illustrate Japan’sancient ceramic and bronze products, Buddhist sculpture, Buddhistrituals tools, Japan with the struggle against the Mongol Empire,historical exchange between Vietnam and Japan, Japanese Edo ceramicproducts (during the 17-18th centuries), Samurai arts, and collection ofcultural exchange.
The exhibition aims to help visitors gain abetter understanding of Japan’s traditional culture and historicalexchanges between Vietnam and Japan.
