The fifth session of the Lao National Assembly (seventh legislature) concluded in Vientiane city on July 26.
During the 15-day deliberation, the NA agreed with the 2012-2013 state budget plan, working plans for the 2013-2014 term, and the reports by key bodies on the implementation of the seventh five-year socio-economic development plan.
It also approved laws on science and technology, social insurance and women’s union, and agreed with the amendments to the two current laws on tourism and food.-VNA
