Vientiane (VNA) - Police in the Lao northern province of Bokeo has just successfully busted a drug trafficking case involving 400 heroin bricks weighing 160 kg in total.
According to local police, while checking vehicles entering and leaving Namkong port, competent forces found a suspicious car, which later turned out to carry the heroin bricks. Three suspects, all residing in the province's Tonphuong district, have been detained.
Further investigation is underway.
