The Marine Rescue Centre Zone 3 on August 5 recovered the remaining two bodies of nine people killed in a boating accident off the coast of Ho Chi Minh City three days ago.
The motorboat, which had a maximum capacity of 18, was reported to be carrying 30 people at the time of the incident. All passengers were workers of the Oil Pipeline JSC.
All dead bodies were handed over to the Oil Pipeline JSC for a burial ceremony.
Relevant agencies have pledged to investigate the cause of the accident.
Director of the Maritime Administration Nguyen Nhat said that the department will learn from the search and rescue activities so that they are better prepared in the event of another accident to limit human losses and damage to property.-VNA
