VNA – Proof of high credibility of national press

Authenticity is the golden quality of mainstream journalism. And the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), as an official and standard-setting news organisation, is a highly trusted source for Sputnik. This was the remark of Vasily Pushkov, Director of International Cooperation at the Rossiya Segodnya Media Group, in an interview with a VNA correspondent in Moscow on the occasion of VNA’s 80th founding anniversary.

Talking to the Vietnam News Agency on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925–2025), Nikulina, who is also a veteran journalist of Russia’s Sputnik News, emphasised the vital role of mainstream journalism in defending the truth and maintaining public trust.
