Malaysia arrests 13 IS-linked suspects

Malaysian Police have detained 13 Malaysians suspected to be linked to the militant group Islamic State (IS) group in Iraq, Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar said.

The suspects were arrested inShah Alam, Selangor state on October 14, Khalid Abu Bakar was quoted byThe Star newspaper as saying.

Malaysia has captured 36 IS-linked suspects since April 28.

Earlier,the Malaysian authorities said at least 40 Malaysians took part inconflicts in Syria, warning the increasing recruitment of the IS throughsocial networking sites.-VNA
