A fair on agro-industry, trade and tourism is underway in Hau Giang province as part of the 6th Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival of the Khmer ethnic people in southern Vietnam.
A fair on agro-industry, trade and tourism is underway in Hau Giangprovince as part of the 6th Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival ofthe Khmer ethnic people in southern Vietnam.

Opened onNovember 22, the 2014 Mekong Delta – Hau Giang Exhibition and Fairprovides a platform for businesses in the province and the region ingeneral to promote trade and investment as well as introduce theiragro-forestry and fishery products, traditional handicrafts, high-yieldvarieties and other specialties, thus improving the competitiveness ofthese products.

It features 350 stands where visitors candiscover the strengths, potential and economic, cultural and tourismachievements of southwestern provinces as well as the traditionalculture of the Khmer ethnic people there.

Fuel taxes cut to 0% from April 16

Accordingly, the environmental protection tax on petrol (excluding ethanol), diesel, kerosene, mazut, and aviation fuel has been cut to 0 VND per litre. These products are also exempt from VAT declaration and payment, while still eligible for input VAT credit.
