Minister-Chairman of Government Office Tran Van Son
Member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son was appointed Minister-Chairman of the Government Office at the 11th session of the 14th National Assembly on April 8.
Politburo member and Head of the Party Central Committee's Organisation Commission Pham Minh Chinh was elected as the Prime Minister at the ongoing 11th session of the 14th National Assembly on April 5.
Vo Thi Anh Xuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of An Giang province, and head of the National Assembly (NA) deputies’ delegation of the province, has been elected Vice President of Vietnam for the 2016 – 2021 tenure.
The National Assembly passed a resolution on the election of chairpersons of a number of its committees on April 7, with approval of all 463 deputies present at the session.
