Miss Universe Vietnam: H'HenNie to keep the crown for her own

After contributions to the community and achievements in Miss Universe 2018, H’HenNie, Miss Universe Vietnam 2017, will retain Empower crown.

Hanoi (VNA) - In addition to the reality TV show "I'm Miss Universe Vietnam", Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 will have three additional new exciting awards categories, Media Beauty, Fashion Beauty and Brave Beauty, besides the awards: Sea Beauty, Most Popular Beauty, Sports Beauty, Ao Dai Beauty, Friendly Beauty and Talented Beauty.

Especially, after her contributions to the community and achievements in Miss Universe 2018, H’HenNie will keep the Empower crown. That is the latest information from the contest organizers.

A place for "brave hearts"

Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H’Hen Nie finished  in the Top 5 Miss Universe 2018. Her victory not only recognized by her outstanding and distinctive appearance but also in "universal heart". The heart symbolizes the courage to express love, spread positive inspiration and create real meaning for the title that Miss H'Hen Niie achieved.

Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 chose "Brave Heart" as the main theme. Representatives of the organizering board said that Miss Universe Vietnam is not only a person represents typical beauty but also possesses a brave heart, and intelligence.

“After the success of the previous two competitions, we are confident to wait for a new beauty queen who is capable of asserting Vietnamese women's beauty in the world beauty arena. Whoever wins the title this year is not only a talented person, but above all a brave beauty who possesses confidence, courage to actively inspire the community and create value for society," said Mr. Tran Ngoc Nhat- Head of Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 organizing board.

With the achievement at Miss Universe 2018 and her influences, H'HenNie deserves to keep the Empower crown forever. Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 will be presented with a new one.

Miss Universe Vietnam H’Hen Nie said, “Nothing is more proud and happier when our efforts are recognized. Two years ago, I was like the contestants, trying everything for the desire to wear a crown. H’Hen has done it. You do, too if you really try and believe in yourself. Be brave to become next Miss Universe Vietnam with all your heart.”

Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 will be organized in the form of 3 official rounds, the preliminary round is scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in the middle of September while the semifinals and finals in November and December in Nha Trang.

The final night, scheduled for December 7, will be broadcast live on VTV1. After the preliminary round, top 70 selected candidates will gather in Ho Chi Minh City within a month to participate in companion activities and record areality TV program before moving to Nha Trang to join the semi-finals and finals.

The reality TV show "I am Miss Universe Vietnam" will return with exciting new points. Specifically, each episode will have a key examiner accompanying, along with coaches and guests and one contestant will be eliminated. The program will air on the national television in the middle of October 2019.

In particular, Miss Universe Vietnam is the first national beauty contest in Vietnam using the audit services of one of the four leading international auditing and consulting firms in the world. In 2019, Earnest & Young Vietnam officially became the provider of audit services for the contest.

It is known that EY Vietnam senior auditors, through professional procedures, will participate in observing the scoring and checking the final score during the semi-final and final rounds, to give an independent guarantee of the accuracy and compliance for the final results.
