Nguyen Phuong Anh, a 18-year-old student from Hungary, was crowned Miss Vietnam in Europe 2011 after overcoming 21 other beauties in the final round held in Berlin, Germany, on August 6.
The first runner-up was Le Hoang Thao Nhi from Germany , while Vo Hong Quan from France took the second runner-up title.
The competition’s final featured ao dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress), swimsuit and evening gown performances and question-answer round.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Do Hoa Binh, and Miss Vietnam in Europe 2009 and runner-up of Miss Vietnam World in 2010 Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Khanh, joined a large audience at the event.
