Mong Cai border economic zone set to open

The Prime Minister on Apr. 10 signed a decision to establish Mong Cai border economic zone in the northern province of Quang Ninh.
The Prime Minister on Apr. 10 signed a decision to establish Mong Caiborder economic zone in the northern province of Quang Ninh.

The 121,197 hectare complex will cover 17 wards of Mong Cai city, HaiHa industrial zone and seaport, Quang Ha town and a number of communesin Hai Ha district.

Once operational, it willaccommodate a non-tariff area, industrial zones, a financial centre, anadministrative centre, a residential area and other functional areas.

The decision will take effect on June 1.-VNA
