The Mar.17's concert at the Can Tho University will feature 50 singers, dancersand musicians as well as students from the university.
They will play revolutionary music and perform dances by famous composers and choreographers.
Pop stars Dam Vinh Hung, My Tam and Thanh Thao will join the tour,singing songs by popular composers Dinh Nghiem, Doan Nho and Pham MinhTuan.
Contemporary dancers from the Windows Troupe will accompany them on the stage.
Concert highlights include Tuan's Bai Ca Khong Quen (UnforgettableSong), one of his favourite songs which praises the country and itssoldiers.
This revolutionary song will be sung by pop singer Hung who is famous for his romantic numbers.
Young singers like H'Zina, Quoc Thien and Anh Khang will alsoparticipate in the tour that will perform next at the Tay Nguyen(Central Highlands) College in Dak Lak province on March 24.
They will perform much-loved songs by young composers like Nguyen HongThuan and Duc Tri, who have made great contributions to the country'smusic industry.
The tour will close with a concernt in HCM City on April 13.
The show's stage director, Trung Nghia, said that through the musictour, young audiences can learn more about traditional and revolutionarymusic.
Soldiers will be invited to the event to share with concert goers the challenges they face in their lives and work.
The Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper, which is organising the tour incooperation with its partners, hopes to raise money that will be usedfor Truong Sa soldiers and their families.-VNA
