Myanmar police have detained eight suspects linked to recent bombings in several cities.
Investigations have shown the string of deadly bomb attacks between October 11 and 14 targeted at potential foreign investors in the country.
Saw Myint, one of the eight detainees, and Saw Nay Toe still at-large are members of Karen National Union (KNU) ethnic rebel group, according to Police Chief Zaw Win.
KNU signed a ceasefire deal with the government in January 2012 and its officials have denied all of the bomb blast-related allegations and cooperated with Myanmar officials to investigate these incidents.-VNA.
