Vovinam (Vietnamese martial art) team was the most successful with three gold medals.
Vo Nguyen Linh pocketed his second gold of the day in the men's individual under-55kg after beating Cambodian Tin Pheap in the final. Earlier, in a group of four other teammates he succeeded in the men's team performance event.
Just some minutes later, Tran Khanh Trang triumphed in the women's U50kg category.
Wrestlers started their tournament Nov. 14 which saw Vietnamese's first gold by Khong Van Khoa who defeated his Filipino rival 5-0 in the final match of the men's U74kg category.

"During the game, I knew that I would win. But I wanted everyone to appreciate the victory so I had to try my best until the last seconds to have the highest result," said Len whose gold was the second of the fencing team.
In gymnastics, Phan Thi Ha Thanh satisfied her fans with a gold medal in the women's all-around event.
The Hai Phong City-born girl who surprised the world with a bronze medal at the World Gymnastics Championships last month performed perfectly for her title, the first ever of Vietnam in SEA Games.
Thanh will compete in the London Olympics next summer and is a strong candidate for the vault event today at the Ranau Hall Jakabaring Sports Centre.
Defending champion Vu Thi Huong failed to keep her title in the women's 200m race. Huong dropped to the third place while teammate Le Thi Phuong earned her silver.
However Vietnam still harvested two gold medals on Nov. 14 in track-and-field.
Tran Hue Hoa had a great triple jump of 13.76m to win her first ever SEA Games title.
Later Nguyen Truong Giang added the sixth gold for the track team after his 69.07m win in the men's javelin.
Shooter Hoang Xuan Vinh took the gold medal in the men's 10m air pistol event at the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
Vinh, 37, who won SEA gold two years ago, scored 675.3 points to top the podium once again.
"Every final is difficult. I had a lucky day today where I could concentrate and give my best performance to take the gold medal," he said.
His teammate Tran Quoc Cuong came in third in the event.
The petanque (iron bowling) team also bagged a gold and a silver medal in the team event.

He clocked in 53.07sec, edging out Sutanto from Indonesia by a tenth of a second; demolishing the old record of 53.82sec, set by Indonesian Daniel Bego at the 2009 SEA Games in Laos ; and surpassing his best personal time of 53.56sec.
On Nov. 12, the 18-year-old from Da Nang finished third in the 50m butterfly for the bronze medal.
High jumper Duong Thi Viet Anh from Bac Lieu sustained an ankle injury during her first attempt at 1.87m, but she fought through the pain to clear the bar at 1.90m on Sunday.
The 21-year-old then failed to clear the bar at 1.92m, a height that would have qualified her for the 2012 London Olympics.
In 2009, Anh won the SEA silver medal with 1.88m./.
