Amidst a global aviation market facing shortages and rising travel demand, Vietjet is expected to add 10 new-generation aircraft to its modern fleet in the last months of 2024. This expansion aims to meet its growing demand and serve passengers on both domestic and international routes.

To meet the increasing travel demand during the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet), Vietnam Airlines has received three new aircraft in December, which will provide over 100,000 seats for the peak travel period in the largest festival in a year of the Vietnamese people.

Vietnam Airlines said that it plans to sell or lease back four new aircraft which the corporation will receive in 2017 to ease the pressure on the due-debt-over-ownership-capital ratio.
