Olympic Run Day took place on March 26 in localities across Vietnam in response to the 77th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27).

Ho Chi Minh City (VNA) – Olympic Run Day took place on March 26 in localities acrossVietnam in response to the 77th anniversary of VietnamSports Day (March 27).

In Ho Chi Minh City,more than 30,000 people joined the run held in several venues since early morning.

The capital city ofHanoi launched two events to promote sports among residents. TheOlympic Run Day and the Ha Noi Moi Newspaper's 48th Run for Peace aimed toraise awareness of the importance of maintaining good health through physicalactivity.

To kick off theOlympic Run Day, over 3,500 athletes, students, workers, and residents ran alap around Hoan Kiem Lake, inviting others to join them.
The annual Run forPeace is scheduled for early October, with more than 170,000 runnersparticipating in the qualifications held in districts, universities, andenterprises in the 2022 season.

In the centralprovince of Thua Thien-Hue, over 1,700 people participated in the Olympic RunDay. On this occasion, the provincial Department of Culture and Sports alsolaunch the annual 31st marathon in 2023.

Also the same day, inthe central city of Da Nang, more than 3,000 people participated in the OlympicRun Day – an event to celebrate not only the 77th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day but also the 48th anniversary of Da Nang's LiberationDay (March 29, 1975 - 2023)./.

Hue Imperial Citadel to offer free night admission to visitors on holidays

Major prehistoric findings in Nghe An reveals ancient rituals

Within two excavation pits covering nearly 20 square metres, the team discovered valuable prehistoric artifacts including stone axes, grinding pestles, earth ovens, and animal bone fragments.
