Hanoi (VNA) – An online exhibition featuring works of art and graphics on Hanoi themed “Memories of Hanoi” will open on October 8 as part of activities to celebrate the 67th anniversary of Capital Liberation Day. Hosted by the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum, the exhibition at https://www.facebook.com/baotangmythuat and http://vnfam.vn will display 25 art works with various materials such as: lacquer, oil paint, silk, gouache, watercolour, lead, and wood carving selected from the museum's collection.
The works, with own style of painters, will recall the memories of the important date in the history of the capital city.
On October 10, 1954, Hanoi was liberated from French colonial rule, beginning a new era for the country.
The exhibition is hoped to help the public learn more about the resistance war of Hanoians and the nation./.
