Online support services offered for COVID-19 hit businesses, workers

The national portal for public services now provides eight services for employers and employees affected by COVID-19.

Hanoi (VNA) – The national portal for publicservices now provides eight services for employers and employees affected byCOVID-19.

The services assist both groups in suspending contributions to the pension and survival benefit funds. They support workers to postpone their performance under labourcontracts, take unpaid leave, or stop working.

The online services also target employees ending labourcontracts but not eligible for unemployment benefits and employers wanting toborrow capital to pay for workers and production recovery.

In addition, the services cover the making of proposals for theextension of taxation payment deadlines for businesses and individuals.

According to the Administrative Procedure Control Agency atthe Government Office, all procedures on the portal have been simplified to a minimum./.
