The State Treasury mobilised a total of 8.523 trillion VND (392 million USD) from Government bonds on the primary market in April, reported the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
The volume of bonds decreased by 50.9 percent from March and the interest rates of bonds in five-, 10- and 15-year terms ranged from 5.35-7.42 percent, down at least 0.17 percent from the previous month.
On the secondary market, the total transaction volume reached more than 482 million bonds, or 51.1 trillion VND (2.36 million USD), by implementing the normal method.
The trading value hit 27.9 trillion VND (1.3 million USD) from repurchase agreements.
In the month, foreign investors bought 4.8 trillion VND (222,000 USD) worth of stocks. They also sold stocks worth more than 7.5 trillion VND (347,000 USD).-VNA
