Panama’s lush tropical forest, wildlife diversity, stunning beaches, skilful fine arts and colourful festivals are being featured through 80 photos displayed at an exhibition, which opened in Hanoi on October 26.

The event, jointly held by the Panamanian Embassy in Vietnam; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and the National Library of Vietnam, is part of activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries (August 28).

Vietnam and Panama have seen stellar cooperation development in the last four decades, Director of the National Library of Vietnam Kieu Thuy Nga stated at the opening ceremony, adding that the two countries have fostered their collaboration across economics, trade, investment, tourism and science-technology.

Meanwhile, Panamanian Ambassador Servio Sammodio expressed his delight to introduce Panama to the Vietnamese people, hoping that the exhibition would help visitors gain a deeper understanding into Panamanian people, culture and relic sites.

The exhibition is underway at the National Library of Vietnam – found at No.31 Trang Thi street, Hanoi – and will run until October 30.-VNA
