The panorama painting depicting the historical Dien Bien Phu battlefield at different times from late 1953 to May 7, 1954, is introduced to visitors at the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum in the northern province of Dien Bien through QR scanning.

Hanoi (VNA) - The panorama painting depicting the historical Dien BienPhu battlefield at different times from late 1953 to May 7, 1954, is introducedto visitors at the DienBien Phu Victory Museum in the northern province of Dien Bien through QRscanning.

It is featured in Vietnamese, English,and French.

With a smartphone, visitors can easily scan the QR codeand select contents in their preferred language to learn more about thepainting.

The activity aims to enhance the popularisation of the panorama painting, helping visitors, especiallyforeigners, who are seeking information about the painting.

The artwork, featuring 4,500 characters, depicts the entire army going tobattle, the opening combat at HimLam hill, the A1 hill battle, and the triumph.

Thepainting was done by about 30 painters drawing continuously and someoccasionally. Most of the participating painters are young graduates from theVietnam University of Fine Art./.

Sea turtle nests on Lam Dong's Hon Cau island for sixth time this year

Since the beginning of 2026, sea turtles have nested six times at three beaches on Hon Cau island, namely Nhat, Mui Tau and Ba Hon. Three nests were left undisturbed at safe locations, while another three were relocated to the incubation area for protection, involving a total of 246 eggs.
