The Vietnam-India Bilateral Exercise (VINBAX) is the most vivid testament to the increasingly substantive and effective collaboration between the two sides, especially as India is the only international partner to date to conduct such an exercise with Vietnam.
The event aimed to boost youth and women’s engagement, inspire the next generation, and honour women’s contributions as leaders in peacekeeping and national construction. It also sought to encourage young women to pursue leadership roles at home and abroad, including in UN peacekeeping operations.
The course, which will runs until November 14 at the department’s headquarters in Hanoi, is designed to provide fundamental knowledge and professional skills in UN peacekeeping for female officers from the Vietnam People’s Army and several other UN member countries.
The UN Secretary-General praised Vietnam’s role, stature, prestige, as well as active and prominent contributions to the UN's common work in all the pillar areas, particularly its hosting of the Hanoi Convention signing ceremony and active participation in UN peacekeeping operations.

Over the past one year, Engineering Unit Rotation 3 completed 110 orders, contributing to stable peacekeeping operations and improving the life of local communities in Abyei.
The members of Engineering Unit Rotation 4 were carefully selected from across the army for their strong political commitment.
