Petrol prices down in latest adjustment

Retail sale prices of petrol were adjusted down from 3pm on May 16 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.

Hanoi (VNA) – Retail sale prices of petrol were adjusted down from 3pm on May 16 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.

Accordingly, the price of E5RON92 bio-fuel was cut by 508 VND to no more than 22,115 VND (0.87 USD) per litre, while that of RON95-III fell by 409 VND to 23,135 VND per litre.

Meanwhile, diesel 0.05S and kerosene are now priced at 19,873 VND and 19,908 VND per litre at the highest, up 26 VND and 207 VND, respectively.

Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S is sold at no more than 17,418 VND per kg, 85 VND lower than the previous adjustment.

The two ministries have decided not to use the petrol price stabilisation fund./.
