Hanoi (VNA) - The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) of the Philippines has reported that FDI into the country recorded a net sum of 674 million USD in June, a surge of 182.7 percent from 238 million USD in the same period last year.
In the first half of this year, the country saw registered FDI net inflows of 3.6 billion USD, which represented 14 percent lower than the 4.2 billion USD net inflows recorded in the same time last year.
Despite the first half’s FDI decline, the NEDA showed its upbeat that more foreign investments will land the country in the time to come.
The administration’s economic managers have been organizing a series of Philippine economic conferences overseas, which will include the one in New York, the US.-VNA
