A photo exhibition on popular landscapes in Algeria and Vietnam was launched in Algiers on October 30 to mark the 59th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic relations (October 28, 1962 – 2021).

Algiers (VNA) – A photo exhibition on popular landscapesin Algeria and Vietnam was launched in Algiers on October 30 to mark the59th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic relations (October28, 1962 – 2021).

The function was co-held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Algeriaand the Algerian Federation of Vovinam Vietvodao (Vietnamese martial arts)(FAVV).

On display were about 60 photos depicting magnificentlandscapes in Vietnam and Algeria and capturing beautiful moments of daily lifein the two countries. The event also featured Vietnamese martial artsperformances by FAVV members and popular Vietnamese traditional dishes.

In his welcoming remarks, Ambassador Nguyen ThanhVinh highlighted the history of the bilateral relations which was establishedeven before Algeria gained independence.

Vinh expected that with strong political ties anddetermination of the two countries’ leaders, their multifaceted cooperationwill thrive further in the coming time.

He also said he hopes via the event, visitors will have a betterunderstanding of the beauty of the two nations’ natural landscapes and peoplesas well as Vietnam’s Vovinam.

The Trade Office of Vietnam in Algeria took the occasion toset up a stall introducing various Vietnamese products in agriculture,fisheries, handicrafts, electric appliances and others, to local enterprisesand organisations.

It also popularised a list of reputable Vietnameseexporters and announced a plan to invite Algerian companies to awebinar on logistics in Vietnam to be held on November 3 – 4./.

Moscow to host Vietnam Culture Festival for first time

Festival-goers will be treated to performances of Vietnamese water puppetry, enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine, and take part in creative cooking workshops. There will be a special art programme which features performances by artists from both countries, showcasing the sounds of traditional Vietnamese instruments.

Photo exhibition highlights Vietnam–Israel cultural ties

Running from July 11 to 24, the event is part of activities marking the 32nd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Israel (July 12, 1993 – 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the Vietnamese diplomatic sector (August 28, 1945 – 2025).

Play brings President Ho Chi Minh's legacy to Russian audiences

The show took place at the Grand Hall of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
