Photo exhibition on Hanoi opens

The Hanoi Art Photography Association on September 25 presented awards to the winners of its 50th art photo contest, themed “Hanoi - Belief and Hope”, and kicked off an exhibition displaying outstanding entries in the competition.

Hanoi (VNA) - The Hanoi Art Photography Association onSeptember 25 presented awards to the winners of its 50th art photocontest, themed “Hanoi - Belief and Hope”, and kicked off an exhibition displayingoutstanding entries in the competition.

The contest was part of the activities marking the 1010th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi.

This year’s 2,491 works submitted by 400 entrants was a record. Onefirst, two second, three third, and 10 consolidation prizes were presented. 

The jury selected 170 photos for display at the exhibition, which lastsuntil September 27, depicting the lives of Hanoians, the city’s vitality, and itssignificant buildings, among others.

Hanoi will organise the 6th dragon dancing festival on the morning of October3 as part of the celebrations of the anniversary, along the pedestrian space aroundHoan Kiem Lake. Thirteen teams from districts in the capital will thrillvisitors with performances./.

Hanoi Pho festival showcases diverse national styles

At the three-day festival, people will also find different varieties of pho such as pho made of corn from Ha Giang province, pho with roasted duck from Lang Son, pho with burnt livers from Bac Ninh, and pho made of artichoke flowers from Da Lat.

HCM City to celebrate national reunification with record-breaking drone show

At 8:45 pm on April 30, all 10,500 drones will take to the sky, followed by a 15-minute fireworks display across 30 city locations at 9 pm., creating a festive and dazzling atmosphere, according to Nguyen Tat Kiet, head of the Performing Arts Division under the municipal Department of Culture and Sports.
