Photos on Hanoi’s architecture and life showcased in Paris

A photo exhibition and a seminar on Hanoi ’s architecture and urban life were opened in the Vietnam Cultural Centre in Paris , France , on Oct. 21.
A photo exhibition and a seminar on Hanoi ’s architecture and urbanlife were opened in the Vietnam Cultural Centre in Paris , France ,on Oct. 21.

The documentary photos chronicled Hanoifrom the past till the present day with its famous relic sites namelyHoan Kiem Lake and Van Mieu ( Temple of Literature ), orFrench-styled architectural works such as Long Bien Bridge ,Hanoi Opera House and Presidential Palace.

At theseminar, French architect Christian Pedelahore de Loddis, who used tolive in Hanoi for ten years and has a good understanding about thecity, explained Hanoi ’s architectural characters through pictures onthe screen.

The exhibition will remain open until Oct. 27./.

Vietnam to send 498-member delegation to 20th ASIAD in Japan

The delegation comprises top athletes competing in key sports including athletics, shooting, swimming, martial arts (wushu, karate, taekwondo and jujitsu), sepak takraw, rowing, canoeing, football, volleyball, golf, fencing and weightlifting.
