Photos on national heritage shown in Hue

The best photos from the 2013 Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards are on display at a two-day exhibition that opened in Hue city, the central province of Thua Thien-Hue, on December 11.
The best photos from the 2013 Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards are ondisplay at a two-day exhibition that opened in Hue city, the centralprovince of Thua Thien-Hue, on December 11.

Thua Thien-Hue is the 14 th destination among 16 localities nationwide to host the touring exhibition.

The photos, selected from more than 6,000 entries of 339photographers, feature the country’s tangible cultural heritage, rangingfrom architecture, sculpture and paintings to handicrafts and examplesof intangible heritage such as music, dancing, festivals and rituals.

The contest was organised by the VietnamHeritage Magazine under the Cultural Heritage Association of Vietnam andthe Cultural Heritage Association of Ho Chi Minh City.-VNA
