Hanoi (VNA) - Coach Nguyen Quoc Tuan has calledup 30 players for the ASEAN U22 Football Championship in Cambodia next month.

Among them are 17 players from the U19 squad, while others havecompeted in the U20 World Cup in 2017.

The team will gather for practice in Hanoi next week.

They will play a friendly match against Ulsan Hyundai FC ofthe Republic of Korea at the Hang Day Stadium in Hanoi on January 26.

At the championship, Vietnam will play East Timor (February17), Brunei (February 19), Laos (Februay 21), the Philippines (February 23) andThailand (February 25) in Group A.

Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia and Singapore are inGroup B.

Two best teams of each group will advance to the semi-finals.The final match is scheduled for March 2.-VNA

Golf tournament marks 50 years of Vietnam–Germany ties
