PM approves Nhan Co industrial zone expansion

The Prime Minister has approved adjustments on planning for development of industrial parks in Central Highlands province of Dak Nong, including the expansion of the Nhan Co industrial zone.

The Prime Minister has approved adjustments on planning fordevelopment of industrial parks in Central Highlands province of DakNong, including the expansion of the Nhan Co industrial zone.

According to the master plan through 2020, the Dak Nong People’sCommittee will be in charge of making adjustments and plans on land usein the locality.

Relevant bodies are assigned tomake a detailed plan for the expansion, ensuring access to socialservices such as water, electricity, and environmental protection.

The Nhan Co Industrial Zone which will be expanded to 148 ha from 100ha is located in Nhan Co commune, Dak R’Lap district and servesdomestic bauxite exploitation, aluminium production projects andagro-forestry product processing.

Last year, theprovincial economy grew by 12.2 percent, the average income per capitaexceeded 32.5 million VND (1,500 USD), and the rate of poor householdswas reduced to 13.75 percent.

In2015, the locality is working towards an economic growth of over 12.25percent, an average income per capita over 35 million USD, and a 2percent decrease in the household poverty rate.-VNA

First “green lane” durian shipment exported to China

​Under the “green lane” process, quality control begins at the cultivation stage, including soil sampling and monitoring, and continues through harvesting and processing, with traceability labels attached to trees and applied to fruit at the time of picking. It also allows plant quarantine procedures and the issuance of certificates of origin (C/O) directly in the localities where the orchards are located.

Vietnam pushes for deeper auto supply chain ties with RoK

Expanding personal income tax exemptions to drive knowledge economy

The Ministry of Finance has recently released the draft for public feedback, with the decree expected to take effect from July 1.
