Created by skilful artisans of the AS Cmielow Porcelain Manufactory in Poland, the collection will display 28 porcelain sculptures of humans and animals, as well as 46 porcelain paintings of monkeys. Depictions of monkeys were often featured in European architecture, prized for their high level of intelligence.

The AS Cmielow Porcelain Manufactory, located in the southeastern region of Poland, has been operating for 207 years and is now one of the most famous porcelain producers on the continent.

At the manufactory, each item is carefully hand-crafted from the finest porcelain before being decorated by artisans. The factory's output includes paintings, sculptures, coffee and tea sets, as well as its latest product – porcelain jewellery.

The unique designs of the objects were inspired by the works of Pablo Picasso and Henry Moore. The Cmielow figures are rendered in vibrant colours and monochrome shades, reminiscent of the artistic trends of the early 20th century.

In 2005, the factory founded the Porcelain Live Museum, where visitors can learn about the porcelain production process and view its artistic holdings.

The Polish Embassy in Hanoi will host the exhibit, on the occasion of Poland taking over the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union for the second half of this year.

The exhibition will be open to the public from July 4-9 at the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hanoi./.
