Meanwhile, the Climate Smart Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction (Climate Smart CBDRR) project will benefit 15 communes in An Giang and Kien Giang provinces. The project, sponsored by Australian Red Cross, is scheduled to take place in 33 months at a cost of 22 billion VND (more than one million USD).
Both projects will enhance knowledge and skills in the communities of the aforementioned provinces to plan and respond to weather related disasters and climate change impacts.
