Property, architecture expo to open in HCM City

A wide range of products and services related to real estate, architecture and interior and exterior decoration will be showcased at the Vietbuild International Exhibition which will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from September 26-30.

HCM City (VNA) - A wide range ofproducts and services related to real estate, architecture and interior andexterior decoration will be showcased at the Vietbuild International Exhibitionwhich will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from September 26-30.

As the second Vietbuild held in the city thisyear, the expo will have more than 2,500 booths, slightly more than last year,set up by over 900 local and foreign companies.

According to the organisers, 288 of theexhibitors are local firms, 126 are joint ventures and the rest are foreignfrom 27 countries and territories, including the US, Russia, France, Australia,Italy, Denmark, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, China and Thailand.

They will showcase property projects, electricalequipment, doors and accessories, internal and external decorative items,building materials, solar energy systems, measuring equipment used in theconstruction sector, and others.

Speaking at a recent press conference tointroduce the exhibition in HCM City, Nguyen Tran Nam, a former deputyconstruction minister and head of the exhibition organising board, saidexhibitors have done research to come up with products with new designs andenvironment-friendly and higher-quality products to meet the increasing demandfor housing construction and interior and exterior decoration.

The expo would be a good forum for local andinternational businesses to meet and explore business opportunities, he said.

Vietravel Airlines to add new route serving Lunar New Year travel peak

During the peak period of the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival in 2026, Vietravel Airlines plans to operate six – eight flights daily on the Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi route, three flights daily on the Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh routes; and two flights daily on the Ho Chi Minh City – Quy Nhon route.

Can Tho–Ca Mau expressway fully opens from January 19

The new section, together with the Can Tho–Hau Giang segment that has been operating smoothly since late December last year, has completed the entire 110.85-km route. With total investment exceeding 27.52 trillion VND (1.04 billion USD), the four-lane expressway is built to modern standards and serves as a key transport artery linking major economic and political centres, industrial zones and seaports in the southwestern region.
