Hanoi (VNA) – Total fatalities in earthquakes in the Philippines since October 16 have reached 20, with at least five deaths reported in the magnitude 6.5 quake that shook Cotabato province in Mindanao, southern Philippines, on October 31 morning.
The tremor struck 33 kilometers northeast of Tulunan town, which was also the epicenter of the magnitude 6.6 quake on October 29 and a magnitude 6.3 temblor last Oct. 16.
