Hanoi (VNA) – The daily reference exchange rate for June 12 isadjusted up 8 VND from the previous day to 22,575 VND/USD.

This is the second day in a row this week the State Bank of Vietnam hasraised the daily reference exchange rate.

With the current trading band of+/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,252 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,898 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates atcommercial banks saw slight fluctuations compared to June 11.

Vietcombank kept both ratesunchanged at 22,765 VND/USD (buying) and 22,835 VND/USD (selling).

Meanwhile, BIDV raised both ratesby 5 VND, listing the buying rate at 22,770 VND/USD and the selling rate at22,840 VND/USD.

At Techcombank, the greenback is being traded at 22,745 VND/USD and theselling rate at 22,845 VND/USD, the same as on June 11 and the last day ofprevious week (June 8).-VNA
