Reference exchange rate down 4 VND on May 4
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,635 VND/USD on May 4, down 4 VND from the previous day.

The opening hour rates at commercial banks continued to decrease.
At 8:15 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 23,275 VND/USD, and the selling rate at 23,645 VND/USD, both up 15 VND from the end of May 3.
Meanwhile, BIDV cut both rates by 1 VND to 23,300 VND/USD (buying) and 23,600 VND/USD (selling)./.
