Reference exchange rate down 5 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam on February 7 set the reference exchange rate at 22,445 VND/USD, down 5 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The StateBank of Vietnam on February 7 set the reference exchange rate at 22,445 VND/USD,down 5 VND from the previous day.

With the current trade band of /- 3percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,118VND/USD and the floor rate 21,774 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the priceof USD saw a little decrease from the previous day.

Vietcombank listed the rates at 22,670VND/USD (buying) and 22,740 VND/USD (selling) while those at BIDV were maintainedat 22,675 VND and 22,738 VND, respectively.

Meanwhile, both rates listed byVietinbank were down by 5 VND, to 22,668 VND/USD (buying) and 22,738 VND/USD(selling).-VNA
