Hanoi (VNA) – The Hung Vuong (Hung Kings) Cultural Research and Development Centre made its debut in Hanoi on May 15.
Pham Van Dan, Director of the Centre, said the centre was established with the goal of researching and developing the tangible and intangible values in the Van Lang culture in the Hung Kings era.
The centre’s research will help promote national characteristics as well as preserve the traditional culture.
It will conduct activities to educate the public on traditional history and encourage patriotism as well as strengthen national unity.
The centre is campaigning for the construction of temples dedicated to Hung Kings in Phu Quoc Island and Truong Sa Archipelago. The idea has received support from relevant management agencies and local governments.-VNA
