Robocon VN finds candidate to Asia-Pacific contest

Thirty-two robot teams from universities, colleges and technical schools across the country will fight to get a ticket to the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest in Thailand.
Thirty-two robot teams from universities, colleges and technical schools across the country will fight to get a ticket to the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest in Thailand.

They are the best among 245 teams participating in this year’s Robocon Vietnam, with its final round being underway in Tuyen Son Sport Complex in the central coastal city of Da Nang.

The final round will run through May 15. Robocon Vietnam was first launched in 2002.

The winner of Robocon Vietnam 2011 will take part in the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest, slated for Bangkok in September.

The Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2011, themed Loy Krathong, Lighting Happiness with Friendship, aims to forge the friendship between young people who share the same interest.

Vietnam has championed the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest for three times./.
