The Korea Airports Corporation (KAC) has presented round-trip tickets and 450 USD for 10 Vietnamese brides to help them visit their homeland.
A presenting ceremony was held on June 30 by KAC and the Vietnamese Embassy in the Republic of Korea (RoK).
Aside from helping international multi-cultural families living in RoK integrate and receive more social welfare, the company aims to assist Vietnamese brides’ families which live by the Incheon international airport and are affected by aircraft’s noise.
Addressing the ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador Tran Trong Toan spoke highly of KAC’s initiatives, which, he said, manifested KAC’s special care for the Vietnamese community in the RoK, home to over 35,000 Vietnamese brides, contributing to boosting the two countries’ relations.
He also expressed his hope that KAC would continue their support for Vietnamese brides in the future.
On this occasion, a memorandum of understanding on KAC’s support was signed, he said./.
