The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has agreed to hold expert-level military talks with the RoK on Sept. 30, according to the RoK defence ministry.
The talks, the first of its kind in nearly two years, are scheduled to be held at the truce village of Panmunjom .
The two sides expect to discuss military issues, including the sinking of warship Cheonan in March that killed 46 RoK sailors.
The last such talks were held in October 2008./.
