Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phong (right) and the representative from Hao group at their meeting on July 10 (Source: hungyentv.vn) Hung Yen (VNA) - The Republic of Korea(RoK)’s Hao group is keen on investing in a waste-to-energy plant in thenorthern province of Hung Yen.
At a meeting with local authorities on July 10,the Hao group’s representatives said the group plans to pour 76 million USD intobuilding a waste treatment plant with a designed daily capacity of 150 tonnesof waste.
The project includes an incinerator and anelectricity generator, a set of high-capacity batteries, a set of wastefermentation processing and microbiological fertiliser productionfacilities.
The group wishes the province to facilitate theimplementation of the project.
Chairman of the provincial People’s CommitteeNguyen Van Phong affirmed the province’s support to the project and requestedthe group to conduct thorough feasibility studies.
The province assigned the provincial Departmentof Planning and Investment to coordinate with the provincial Department ofNatural Resources and Environment, Department of Construction to select a properlocation for the project.-VNA
